Social Media Experience

As the digital media specialist, I ran the BSU Instagram account , created daily content, videos, and flyers to increase community engagement over the span of two years. The TikTok videos turned into reels on IG received 11.k views, with the average post from this year receiving 4k-5k views. A significant increase from last year with the average post ranging between 1k - 2k.

Each of these posts was designed to capture attention, encourage interaction, and build a community around the brand. By analyzing the engagement metrics, I continuously refine my approach to maximize reach and impact. These results underscore my expertise in creating compelling social media content that drives tangible results.

View My Creative Canva Flyers

I created over 40 flyers in 2024 for the BSU, and this link will take to some of my designs on Canva. In this collection, you'll find:

  • Event Flyers: Designed to attract attention and boost attendance, these flyers feature vibrant visuals and clear information to engage and inform potential attendees.

  • Bio Flyers: Created to highlight prominent people offers, product launches, and sales events, these flyers are crafted to drive interest and conversions.

  • Informational Flyers: Developed to communicate essential information clearly and concisely, these designs prioritize readability and visual appeal.

Communications Intern

During my time with this non-profit organization, SWCRF, I had the privilege of supporting their mission by creating impactful ad campaign flyers, managing their Twitter account, and engaging with media outlets to secure interview opportunities. Here’s a closer look at my contributions:

    Twitter Account Management

  • Managed the non-profit’s Twitter account, crafting engaging content to increase followers and boost engagement.

  • Developed a content calendar to ensure regular and timely posts, including updates on events, success stories, and calls to action.

  • Monitored and responded to interactions, fostering a sense of community and support among followers.
